Company Information: Press
Here is what some of our clients and commentators have said about Rugged Logic...
Perhaps the most succinct description of the SpreadsheetBuilder services was written by the Financial Times, who summed it up perfectly as always:
"The company builds customised interactive models that yield much more interactive information than the humble spreadsheet. These describe complex future business scenarios in minutes and allow variables, from inflation to projected margins, to be altered at the push of a button. They are designed to be used in boardrooms to plot anything from operational budgets to mergers and acquisitions strategy, and to be accessible to everyone, not just the Finance Director."

Just so, we couldn't have said it better ourselves.
Here are a few more descriptions and comments:
"The hi-tech equivalent of a crystal ball… Allows companies to put together a model of their business and view "what-if" scenarios" Sunday Business
"Allows them to see detailed information on screen on all aspects of the firm's trading and make trading predictions" Sunday Times
"The result is an explanatory graph on the computer screen, replacing vague boardroom guesses and hunches." The Times
"The service promises to provide massive time and cost benefits for anyone requiring a forecasting tool. Moreover, by providing an Excel spreadsheet the service also ensures that no training is required to use the finished product. Previously, users have had two options, either buying an expense 'enterprise' system, or else manually preparing an Excel sheet of their own - a time consuming process that inevitably ends up with an error-ridden solution " Accountancy
"It gave us a lot more scenario analysis than we could do from our own spreadsheet" Large Venture Capital group (name withheld!)
"Previously we had used our own Excel spreadsheets. But we were quite dangerously dependent on the one person who had built them for finding the bugs." PricewaterhouseCoopers, in an interview with the Financial Times
"You get your own, custom-built, financial planning spreadsheet by email. All you need is Excel, and a project that needs a business plan." Director
"We think it's pretty nifty" Real Finance
PricewaterhouseCoopers were the first to benefit from the technology, and said:
"We chose the system having dedicated a team to assess the most effective tools on the market." And their assessment? That it "not only gets us to a detailed analysis quickly, it also allows us to present our findings in an easy-to-use, insightful and visual form."

British Telecom, interviewed by the Sunday Times , said: "It has the ability to implement strategic decisions with quality at a fraction of the cost spent on other initiatives". So they used it to build a model that "sits above the other ones we use to give a strategic overview… the linchpin of our strategic planning system"

NatWest, interviewed by the Financial Times , said that when their staff "put together a loan, they can see how profitable it will be for the bank… makes it really easy to run through different scenarios"
